CARPOOL CONVERSATIONS PART II

Everyday we drive by picketers.  Chicago is a city where the unions are strong – so this is not a surprise…usually.

Yesterday was different because we drove by 5- and 6-year old picketers.  They were in elementary school and they were standing up to the perpetrators against a dirty earth.  Home-made signs (with Crayon, of course) read “KEEP THE EARTH CLEAN” and “WE WANT TO KEEP THIS PLACE” and they were chanting at the passerby such as ourselves.  “But we’re carpooling,” we yelled back. Is that enough?

Earth Day does not mean that you should only care about the earth’s problems on one day alone. We launched our eco-friendly napkins yesterday (above), and we’re beginning a new partnership with TREES FOR THE FUTURE. With them, we’ll be planting a tree for every order placed.
So, with us:
PLACE AN ORDER, PLANT A TREE!
Beginning now for a better, cleaner Earth (per instructions from the little picketers!).
