Indie Wed Chicago

A morning cocktail, beautiful wedding decor and local talented artists were just a few reasons last weekend’s Indie Wed event a wonderful success and a place to draw inspiration for this wedding season. Our creative director, Laura, love the looks of Lil Epic Event Design and Chykalophia.

Lil Epic had a gorgeous booth with the most intricate whimsical paper flowers. They made a perfect backdrop and would be a beautiful addition to any event. For those DIY brides, this would be a fun project to take on. We found a few DIY paper flower tutorials here. Check out their beautiful details below.

One of our talented designers, Claren, loved the party bags from designer Fox and Hound Paperie. We love the tone on tone Kraft colored bags, maybe we need to add those to our personalized party bag collection.

Sari, our President, also made her rounds and fell in love with the antiques for rent business – Aged Vintage Rentals. We might even have to rent some of these great items for a photoshoot around here. It’s such a great idea for couples that are after that vintage look, but don’t have all the time and money to seek out these pieces before the big day.
