Jennifer & Daniel’s 20’s Themed Gatsby Wedding
Pop the bubbly! This 1920’s Gatsby themed wedding is everything you’d expect it to be. The champagne bar, the jazz musicians, the table decor: all the elements of the this wedding scream Gatsby.
Jennifer & Daniel’s photographer, Michele Beckwith, had some kind words about the day:
“To showcase their beautiful city, the couple wanted to pick a venue close to their neighborhood. Influenced by her love of F. Scott Fitzgerald books, the fabric of her current garment bag line (JenDarling Bags) and her engagement ring, a Gatsby inspired wedding with a modern twist was a natural choice. The historic General’s Residence at Fort Mason was an ideal location. With its lush green lawns, rich history and spectacular bay views, they knew it would be the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening reception.”
“Jen and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready at the classically beautiful Huntington Hotel. It is the same hotel where the couple went for celebratory drinks the night they got engaged. Ironically enough, they had been out earlier that evening attending a friend’s 1920′s themed soiree.”
Jennifer and Daniel use our Luxe Soft Black, Luxe Crystal White, and Mint Cocktail napkins with Shiny Gold foil. They added a subtle touch of personalization to the day.
“The napkins were imprinted with golden Fitzgerald literary quotes and were great conversation starters.”
“The tables were named after Fitzgerald novels/short stories and were marked with Julie’s meticulously hand written signs. The cocktail menu was also had lettered by Julie. It included classics like mint juleps, gentleman jays, French gimlets and a St. Germain cocktail.”

“The bride was very hand’s on and designed many of the wedding details herself. She enlisted the help of Julie Forsberg of Yonder Events to create the mini milk glass wedding favors that doubled as escort cards.”
