Two perfect palettes for East Coast class

We are loving these two color palettes that perfectly harness East Coast classic style. Even if your nuptials are West Coast- or Midwest-based, you can use these palettes to bring a little Atlantic vibe to your big day.

Leaf green and white
This color combo is reminiscent of classic, preppy East Coast style, and brings to mind polo playing in Nantucket on thick green grass. If you’re having an outdoor wedding or reception under a billowy white tent, you can’t go wrong with Kelley green and white.

For the quintessential East Coast look, monogrammed touches – like custom cocktail napkins and personalized matchbooks as favors – are a must. You could even create your own custom monogram to be foil stamped onto your menu, place cards and table numbers.

For your bouquet, this color combo offers so many floral options, you’ll have a hard time deciding. Again – stick with simple, classic and elegant. How about white tulips with stephanotis? There will be enough green to offset the bouquet from your dress. Or, try an arrangement of vibrant green hydrangeas and soft white viburnums or roses, which look amazingly chic as reception table centerpieces as well.

Chambray blue and white
If you want a more upscale feel, try a palette of cornflower blue and white, with other complementing blues if you wish for a little variety. This look emulates Cape Cod style but fancies it up a bit.

For customized reception touches, think bold but elegant patterns – like chevron –  in blue and white, and stick with delicate white flowers to offset the patterns. We like classic white roses or ruffly white hydrangeas for both the bouquet and the reception tables. Use high-quality personalized ribbon in a coordinating shade of blue to add oceanic touches to your beautiful white dress.
